Chatham County is constructing a new facility to service a portion of Chatham County’s fleet, focusing on the larger, heavy-duty fleet vehicles. The facility will include office space, storage for parts, and drive thru maintenance bays designed to accommodate the County’s largest and most heavy-duty vehicles.

County Commissioners approved a construction contract to be executed with AutoBuilders General Contracting Services Inc., at the August 8th 2025 Board meeting, for construction of the project.  Construction started in November of 2025 and is anticpated to be complete in 12 months.
