The project consists of three primary components.

1)The existing four-way stop-controlled intersection will be upgraded with a traffic signal and intersection lighting, along with construction of a right-turn lane on Diamond Causeway at Green Island Road and a right-turn lane on McWhorter Drive.

2)A 10-foot multi-use path on the southside of Diamond CSWY will be constructed that will connect the future Green Island Road path to the Lake Street/Westcross Road intersection.

3)The intersection at Lake Street/Westcross Road and Diamond CSWY will be upgraded with new equipment meeting GDOT current standards.
