The Board approved a construction contract with Platinum Paving and Concrete to complete the Walthour Road Slope Stabilization project.  The work involves constructing a new sheet pile wall on the westside of Walthour Road, south of the bridge over Betz Creek.  It also includes construction of a new sidewalk as well as slope stabilization measures on the east side of Walthour.  The work requires that this section of Walthour Road between Oemler Loop and Rivermist Lane be closed to traffic.  The closure is planned to begin June 3, 2026 and last up to 120 days.  We anticipate opening the road no later than October 1, 2026.
